Pied Butcher Bird I was priviledged to get a series of photos of this Butcher Bird. He was in a callistemon beside our driveway and was killing and eating a sparrow. See the sparrow in bottom right of photo. The Butcher Bird actually hung the sparrow in a twigged fork so that he could eat eat, hence the name "Butcher" bird because they "hang" their meat!
